About the tour
We invite you to take a dizzying journey into the past! Here you can contemplate the beauty of the Middle Ages: see with your own eyes the surviving remains of the village of Kunnyum, ancient crypts, the Aibai-kala tower, which was built on a huge boulder, find yourself on an old wheeled road, which was cut at the end of the 19th century right in the sheer rock of the Cherek gorge.
We are going to Cherek gorge - one of the most picturesque places in the Cherek canyon, then we will visit the Ushtulu valley. The luckiest tourists will be able to see the Turs - Caucasian mountain goats! Clean mountain air, gentle sun, diverse vegetation, majestic mountains, the beautiful river Kara-Suu, which originates from the Ushtulu glacier, a healing narzan spring, and many unforgettable experiences - all this you will find on a trip to the "Ushtulinsky glade".
Tour program
The first point of our route will be the transfer to the Cherek Gorge on an off-road vehicle. You can admire the beauty of the Caucasian nature, huge mountains, fast mountain river, sheer cliffs.
A stop at the Blue Lakes will not leave anyone indifferent. You will be able to appreciate the magnificent natural views, walk around the unique place.
Next we will move to Cherekskaya Gorge. The gorge is very narrow, surrounded by tall steep cliffs. Here we will walk and take a lot of photos.
Through a gorge we will get to the village of Upper Balkaria. It is here that we will plunge into the medieval past, get acquainted with the life of the ancient times, and take many photographs. At the request of tourists, we can organize lunch in a cafe.
We end our trip with the tract Ushtulu. Amazing beauty and atmosphere around. This wide valley, bordered by mountains, a nature reserve with a variety of flora and fauna will be remembered for a long time.
